Diablo 3 stuck on updating blizzard update agent

It also works for the "Updating files..." progress bar error. page=1 TL; DR noob friendly version: This worked for me, I was finally able to log in after 1.5 days of failed attempts. Go to WTF/Find and edit SET gx Api "D3D11" to SET gx Api "D3D9" Start Launcher.Update - Possible fix for 15544 Update Okay, so I couldn't log in after the 15544 Update. If the progress bar is stuck, try it a few more times. Not sure if that's true - but if my installer crashes again (ugh, from 72% complete to restarting at 0, sadface) I will try it and post here to update. For example there is no old connections in my internet settings to even remove. I am however looking for an alternative solution as the above doesnt work for me.

If your launcher aint opening when you try to install the beta I made a lil guide for you guys how to solve the problem.

It has helped a lot of players so far and I hope it can be of help to someone here at MMO-champion aswell.

I had to delete folder one more time, then it started downloading. I'd suggest sticky this thread, since I'm pretty sure with 200k more people with AP getting invites, more people are likely to get stuck on the same problem.

I actually have no idea why this fixed it, but this was the only thing I did. So sticky to not flood the forums with the same threads.

I start the launcher and it doesn't show anything but the phrase "Updating Tools (0%)" at the bottom with no progress even after having it open all night and the Play button grayed out...

Also when I tried to install Diablo 3 (real version) from I have it downloaded and installing it gets to a certain point halfway throughout the bar and stops with no further progress even after having it open an entire night as well...

Upon reloading the launcher the "unexpected error" occurs. I cannot see any such folder in my installation folder. On the other hand I removed the 32 file from the task manager and nothing new changed when I retried to install. I get to 10% then the Failed to find files " error appears followed by client crash.

Upon reloading the launcher the "unexpected error" occurs. Did this, made so I had more than enough disk space (50gb on one drive, 750gb on the other), running as admin..

Whenever I reach 10% on the installer, my desktop refreshes and the previously temp file shortcut to World of Warcraft Beta changes into a file along with my installer stopping. I cannot see any such folder in my installation folder. On the other hand I removed the 32 file from the task manager and nothing new changed when I retried to install. I get to 10% then the Failed to find files " error appears followed by client crash.

Upon reloading the launcher the "unexpected error" occurs. I disabled my firewall, deleted and redownloaded the beta client, restarted and tried again. There is nothing under the internet connections to disable.

maybe it's something else for me because it still just won't work =( Hope it works for everyone else, maybe I'll find something that works for me! Are you sure something else like your firewall is not blocking the connection?
